Changsha Huanghua International Airport Honored as World's 3-Star Airport
On October 8, Changsha Huanghua International Airport joined the list of “World’s 3-Star Airports” on official website of the world's leading airline and airport review site—SKYTRAX. Also awarded 3-Star rank that day were Charles de Gaulle International Airport (Paris, France), Atlanta International Airport (USA), Brussels International Airport (Belgium), and Dubai International Airport (UAE). Changsha Huanghua International Airport has thus become the fifth airport in China (first in central China) to pass the certification process and attain this international star-rank status. This recognition signifies Changsha Huanghua International Airport’s high level of service, which is first-rate in the nation. Previously, the only Chinese holders of this international certification were Beijing Capital International Airport, Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, Haikou Meilan International Airport, and Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.
SKYTRAX is currently globally recognized as the most credible and authoritative independent air transport research certification organization. Since beginning to receive passenger reviews in 1999, it has continued on the principles of transparency, strictness, and total independence. SKYTRAX rates the service of major world airports and airlines based on both actual inspection and surveys from real travelers. The world aviation industry agrees that SKYTRAX traveler reviews do indeed fairly reflect upon the overall level of service of airports and airlines, and that for any airport, regardless of country, to receive a SKYTRAX star rating is a real honor.
