Frontier Inspection Procedures
1 Before Inspection
Please have your valid travel documents ready for inspection. Unless you are a holder of Foreigner’s Permanent Residence Card or Group Visa, all foreign passengers are required to complete the Arrival/Departure Cards which can be obtained at the Arrival/Departure Card Filling Desk or from our inspection officers.
2 During Inspection
Please follow the signs or instructions from inspection officers and proceed to appropriate lane/counter for inspection. Please remove your hats, masks, sunglasses or other personal adornments that you may be wearing as required by the inspection officers. Your cooperation is appreciated.
3 After Inspection
Please remember to take back your documents after inspection. You may also evaluate our services via the Rating Device located on the inspection counter. Your feedback will be highly valuable for the continuous improvement of our services.

2 Please remain calm and queue in the line when waiting for inspection. Mobile phones, cameras, video cameras and any other recording devices are prohibited in Immigration Inspection areas.
3 Please ensure that all the information provided on arrival/departure cards, including your name, nationality, passport number, gender, date of birth, etc., is true and correct ,please sign your name.

Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine
Health and Quarantine
1 In order to simplfy health declaration reporting procedures at aviation ports, under normal administration, when no serious epidemics have occurred home and abroad, an oral declaration would suffice and a Health Declaration Form on Entry /Exit is not necessary. However, for those entry-exit passengers with one of the following symptoms, an initiative oral report by passengers or by their guardians to quarantine doctors/officials is required and corresponding inspection and quarantine must be accepted:
Passengers with symptoms of fever, cough, breathing difficulty, vomiting, diarrhea and other symptoms;
Passengers suffering from infectious diseases or mental diseases(illnesses);
Passengers who are carrying human remains, radioactive substances(materials), animals and plants and their products and other goods having public health risk;
2 Passengers from the WHO-issued yellow fever epidemic areas must present valid vaccination certificates to the inspection and quarantine authorities.
3 Chinese nationals having stayed abroad for more than three months / Foreigners (including his/her retinues) who want to stay in China for a year or more shall take a physical examination at the designed inspection and quarantine agency within one week /one month beginning from the day of arrival.
4 Any person who wants to go abroad should inquire the situation of infections diseases of the destination country or region at the inspection and quarantine agency and take relevant travel health care such as preventive inoculation and medicines.
You Can't Bring
1 Live animals (except cats and dogs as pet), including all mammals, birds, fish, amphibians, reptiles, insects other invertebrates, and animal genetic materials;
2 Animal meat (raw or cooked, including viscera) and its products, aquatic animal products;
3 Animal derived milk and milk products, including raw milk, fresh milk, yogurt, animal-derived cream, butter, cheese and other dairy products;
4 Eggs and egg products, including fresh, preserved, salted, liquid eggs, egg shells, mayonnaise and other egg products;
5 Cubilose (except canned cubilose) ;
6 Fat and grease, hides, hair, hooves, bones and horns and their products;
7 Animal derived feedstuff (including meat meal, bone meal, fish meal, whey powder, blood meal and other single feedstuff), animal derived Chinese medicinal materials, and animal-derived fertilizer;
8 Fresh fruits and vegetables;
9 Tobacco leaves (except cut tobacco);
10 Seeds (seedlings), nursery stocks and other propagating plant materials;
11 Organic cultivation media;
12 Animal carcasses, animal specimens and animal-derived wastes;
14 Micro strains, virus strains and other animal and plant pathogens, pests and other harmful organisms, cells, organs and tissues, blood and blood products and other biological materials;
15 Genetically modified biomaterials;
16 Other animals, plants and their products, and other quarantine objects prohibited entry in China.
lf you carry any of the above-mentioned objects, please hand them over to the inspection and quarantine officials or dispose them into the quarantine bin.
You Must Declare
1 Seeds, nursery stocks and other propagation materials, tobacco leaves, cereals and beans (all these require pre-entry quarantine permit);
2 Fresh flowers, cut flowers and dry flowers;
3 Plant samples, exhibits and specimens;
4 Nuts, dried vegetables, pickled vegetables and frozen vegetables;
5 Bamboo, rattan, willow, straw and wooden handcrafts;
6 Pets, such as cats and dogs must be accompanied with rabies vaccination and health certificates;
7 Human blood and its products, micro-organism, human tissues and bio-products (requiring special permit);
If you carry any of the above-mentioned objects, please declare them to the inspection and quarantine authorities and be ready for quarantine.
In accordance with Frontier Health and Quarantine Law of the People's Republic of China and its specific rules of implementation, and The Law of the People's Republic of China on the Entry and plant Quarantine and its regulations for implementation, up to RMB50,000 shall be imposed on the following violations, with criminal offence affixed to serious ones:
1 Failure to declare or obtain import permit or failure to follow the provision on import permit when carrying animals and plants,animal and plant products, micro-organisms, bio-products, blood and blood products into China;
2 Refusal of quarantine inspection or sanitary supervision, or rejection of sanitary treatments;
3 Failure to report the epidemic situation truthfully, or forgery and alteration of quarantine forms and certificates;
4 Withholding of epidemic situation or fabrication of its circumstance.
